Can you install large-format tile like 24x48?

Yes. Large tile needs a very flat floor; we level the substrate and use leveling clips to prevent lippage.

Is tile removal dusty?

Demolition creates dust, so we seal off work areas and use dust-control tools to keep the rest of your home clean.

How soon can I walk on new tile?

Light foot traffic after about 24 hours; furniture and normal use after 48-72 hours.

Do you provide the tile?

No, you choose and buy the tile, and we provide the installation labor and setting materials listed in your estimate.

Layout
We plan tile layout to center rooms and avoid thin slivers at walls.

Demo & prep
Old tile removed, substrate leveled and membranes applied.

Set tile
Tile set with full thinset coverage and leveling system.

Grout & seal
Joints grouted, sealed and the floor cleaned and inspected.

How long it takes

About 150-250 sq ft per day depending on tile size. A bathroom floor takes 2 to 3 days; a full open-plan floor 5 to 8 days including demolition.

What to buy and when

Order 10% extra for straight layouts and 15-20% for diagonal, herringbone or large-format tile.

Buy all boxes from the same lot (check the shade and caliber codes on each box).

Choose your grout color early, we'll confirm the exact grout and thinset quantities.

Order 2-3 weeks before install; large-format and imported tile often has longer lead times.

Keep 1-2 spare boxes for future repairs; discontinued tile is hard to match.
