Is vinyl plank really waterproof?

Quality rigid-core (SPC) vinyl is waterproof on the surface and core, making it great for kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Can vinyl go in a condo?

Yes. Many condo associations require a specific acoustic underlayment, send us your building's rules and we'll follow them.

Can you install over tile?

Often yes, if the tile is flat and grout lines are shallow. Deep grout or uneven tile should be leveled or removed first.

Can I walk on it right away?

Click-lock vinyl can be used immediately. Glue-down floors need about 24 hours before heavy furniture goes back.

How long it takes

Vinyl plank is fast: about 600-900 sq ft per day. Most homes are done in 2 to 4 days, including tile removal.

Order 7-10% extra for cuts and future repairs; keep one unopened box.

Choose rigid-core (SPC) vinyl with a wear layer of 12 mil or more for busy homes.
